Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using GRAFT ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use GRAFT. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or guardian. By using the app, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Description of service

GRAFT is a personal athletic performance tracking application that allows users to log training sessions across multiple sports, track body stats, nutrition, and recovery, and view performance summaries. The app is provided as a progressive web application (PWA) and may be available via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

GRAFT is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to add, change, or remove features (including free and Pro features) at our discretion.

4. User accounts

  • You may use GRAFT without an account. Signing in with Google (or Apple) enables cloud sync, leaderboard participation, and data backup.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your profile.
  • You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account, or by following the steps on our account deletion page. Full account deletion is the only option currently available; selective category deletion is not supported. If you cannot access the app, you can email graftappofficial@gmail.com and the request will be processed within 7 days after verification.

5. Your data and responsibilities

  • You retain ownership of all data you enter into GRAFT.
  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter. GRAFT does not verify user-entered content.
  • You can export your data at any time via the Export feature.
  • We store your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • We do not sell your data to third parties.
  • We recommend backing up your data regularly by signing in to enable cloud sync or using the Export feature. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, browser storage limits, or user error.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to manipulate leaderboard data or rankings
  • Impersonate another person or use a misleading display name
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app or its infrastructure
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Use automated tools to scrape or interact with the app
  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass any feature restrictions, paywalls, or security measures

7. Subscriptions and payments

GRAFT offers a free tier and a paid "GRAFT Pro" subscription. If you purchase GRAFT Pro:

  • Payment is processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. GRAFT does not collect or store your payment card details. Card and billing information is held by Apple or Google under their own terms.
  • Entitlement (whether your account currently has Pro access) is managed via RevenueCat, which receives subscription and purchase events from the relevant store. RevenueCat does not receive your payment card details and is used for subscription/entitlement processing only.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Play Store settings.
  • Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's refund policies.
  • Pro features are unlocked immediately upon successful payment.
  • If you cancel, Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

8. AI Performance Insights

GRAFT may offer AI-powered performance insights to eligible Pro users. These insights are optional and are intended to provide general, informational support based on the data you choose to log in the app. AI Performance Insights require your explicit in-app consent before the feature can run, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You should use your own judgement when interpreting any AI output and should not rely on it as the sole basis for important decisions.

AI Performance Insights are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, injury assessment, nutrition advice, psychological advice, or a replacement for a qualified professional. Speak to an appropriate qualified professional before making decisions about injury, pain, illness, nutrition, medication, training load, or major lifestyle changes.

GRAFT does not guarantee any specific performance, health, recovery, physique, training, or lifestyle outcome from using AI Performance Insights. The feature requires an active internet connection, a signed-in account, and an active Pro subscription, and may be changed, limited, or discontinued at any time.

You remain responsible for how you interpret and use information from AI Performance Insights.

9. Optional device health & motion integrations

GRAFT can optionally display daily movement data (step count, estimated distance, active minutes) sourced from your device's health or motion service, for example Apple Health / HealthKit on iOS or Health Connect on Android where the platform supports it. These integrations are fully optional and are not required to use GRAFT.

  • Availability depends on your platform, device permissions and OS support. Some browsers and devices do not expose health data to web apps; in those cases you can log movement manually.
  • Imported movement data may not always be perfectly accurate; it reflects what the underlying health service reports and may differ from other trackers.
  • GRAFT is not a medical device, clinical activity tracker, or diagnostic tool. It is a performance-review app. Do not use movement data displayed in GRAFT for any medical decision.
  • You remain responsible for managing device permissions. You can disable step sync in GRAFT Settings, and you can revoke health access at the OS level at any time.
  • Location is not used to count steps. Any future route/distance feature will clearly ask for location permission separately.

Where you grant permission, GRAFT can also import recorded workout sessions, including activity type, start/end time, duration, and where available distance and active calories, so they appear in your weekly Recap. GRAFT does not import route/GPS, heart-rate, sleep, clinical, reproductive-health, or any other health categories.

10. Health disclaimer

GRAFT is not a medical tool. The app is designed for personal fitness tracking and educational reference only. Features such as the injury map, supplement tracker, recovery tools, and AI insights provide general information and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new exercise programme, making dietary changes, or if you have concerns about an injury. Never disregard professional medical advice because of information provided in the app.

You use GRAFT and act on its content entirely at your own risk. We accept no liability for any injury, health issue, or adverse outcome that may result from your use of the app.

11. Intellectual property

The GRAFT name, logo, design, and all associated content are the property of GRAFT and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without written permission.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • GRAFT is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  • We do not warrant that the app will be available at all times, free from errors, or that any data will be preserved.
  • We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, personal injury, or reliance on app content.
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the total amount you have paid for GRAFT Pro in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or twenty pounds (GBP 20), whichever is greater.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to GRAFT, without prior notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • Your account is involved in fraudulent or abusive activity
  • Your use of the app disrupts the experience for other users
  • We are required to do so by law

You may stop using the app at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. We recommend exporting your data before deleting your account, as deletion is permanent and irreversible.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app where possible. Continued use of GRAFT after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
